What Is Presented
Current, factual information on specific drugs, including alcohol, marijuana, tobacco, ecstasy, prescription and over the counter medications, cocaine, heroin, crystal meth, date rape drugs, performance enhancing drugs and more. Issues surrounding substance abuse and more.
A story telling approach, done on an individual classroom basis, engages young children and allows them to relate to the characters, while learning information related to healthy choices, medicine, poison proofing and street proofing. Children delight in acting out the stories and reciting the rhymes and poems. Presentation length 20 -30 minutes.
